Apple's SSDs are always overpriced and slower than third-party ones anyways.

Why, my friend, do you think that a "cash cow" has to be the thing that gains the most revenue/profit? Not sure what dictionary you're using; please let me know.
The MP3 player market is still growing too fast and is too competitive for the iPod to fall into the "cash cow" category. It's margins are on par with those for Macs, meaning that it requires substantial expenditures to maintain its position on the cutting edge. Definitely not a cash cow...it's still a star.

Well. I have to say Bravo! VMWare!!!!
It use SOOOOOOO little amount of memory compare to Parallels (4xxMB vs 2.xxGB), so there is better system performance. I cannot wait to test it on my Macbook but the different on my Mac Pro was HUGE!!
I agree. VMware is already very good for a private beta (don't ask me how I got it ;)). Very fast already, and the app itself starts up about 5x faster than Parallels. And it uses a Cocoa native interface yay!

I went to South Coast and MV, both said try back in the morning, but no guarantees. Still deciding if I want to try again in the morning and where. South Coast was a fiasco with the mall cop.

Did they really tell you to use the Shopping Cart feature in iTunes? Because since iTunes 9 this feature is gone now! The documentation you/Apple quoted is depricated unless your still using a pre iTunes 9 version.
I miss shopping cart, but it is still around - called wish list now. Click on the drop down arrow next to the file you want to DL and click "add to wish list." Not sure if it works like this on the iPhone OS though...

I've compiled a list of changes that I've noticed:
1. The view buttons in Finder have switched back to the "old" style where the options not selected are de-pressed.
2. The iCal leather gradient that everyone hated has been changed to be lighter (picture attached). Honestly, I think it looks a LOT better now. Just less "in your face."
3. The To-Do list in iCal is now referred to as "Reminders."
4. Apple has forced all applications to use the new iOS scroll bar. If that app hasn't been updated to support the new iOS scroll bars, then their is a container around them (attached image).
5. Some changes in Mail must have been made because you are required to update your database before launch.

Managed to score a 16GB black wifi iPad. Was hoping for white, maybe I'll get lucky and someone here wants to trade.
If not I guess I'll live. I ended up 'settling' for a black iPhone 4, so this isn't much different.

Okay, they fixed the Portal, so I was able to download it, a 79.4MB file, lets see how this runs compared to parallels.

1) The use of 'and...and...and' a lot. Stammering: A hallmark of sarcasm.
2) He then responded to one of my comments with a very thoughtful post (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12377088&postcount=26). Hardly the type of thing and actual Android-Troll would write.
I was pretty sure based on #1 (do people really not know the stammering thing? I guess not!), but #2 was enough to make me certain.

No, I read that the show actually generates around $160m per year for ABC through advertisers.
You may not like him, but I suppose he is underpaid for the money he can generate...
Oh, and Youtube clip of the Tiger blood/Sinatra/"Dying is for Amateurs"/"I'm bi-winning" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BZA5bOZ6To) interview. :eek: :p
Between him and Cryer, that's still half of what the show brings in. And you're still not factoring in production costs.

I would be really disappointed to see a metal backing like iPod Touch has. My previous iPods from the past are so jacked up on the backside with scratches and dents. I know I'm not alone with this.
I'd prefer if the iPhone retained a glass backing like on the iPhone 4; I think it's just so sexy. But if they were going to move to metal I'd prefer an iPad-style backing.

It might be possible to fool me when it comes to a transvestite, but it is hard to hide big hands, an adams apple, and wide shoulders, among other things.
I have none of those things, never have, a large portion of transsexuals don't either.
I think you have things somewhat confused, transvestites are typically the ones with big hands, wide shoulders, adams apples etc as they don't take female hormones and typically never have surgery, they simply crossdress.
You seem more than anything just plain misinformed, like you have some exaggerated idea of what being transgender actually means. Put simply you only notice the transgender people you notice, so to your eye you may casually cast us all as obvious. I used to think similarly myself, it came as a great surprise to me that transgender people for the most part live fairly normal mundane lives.
